S7-1200 Error in lower-level componet

I am starting to use a 1211C (211-1AE40-0XB0). The equipment is new, but after I made a change in the original IP, now the TIA portal (V16) shows "Error in lower level componet". The PLC goes into RUN mode and apparently works, but this is very strange. Please see the attached screen print. I searched in the siemens forums, but I see that this error can be generated by multiple causes. I suspect problems in the firmware version of the PLC (version 4.5), because the version of TIA portal that I have supports up to CPU version 4.4. Since your Screenshot does not show the hardware, I can't say something about their state. To got more information about the hardware, please use 'Online & diagnostics'. Kind regards Stefan

Now I understand that I am doing something wrong when I change the IP address of the PLC, but I still don't know what it is. Today it caught my attention that the plc did not save the IP address that was assigned yesterday (192.168.0.200) and when I turned it on it had the factory IP address (192.168.0.1), it did not show the error message. When you modified the IP address in the project, were you offline when you downloaded the PLC? Did you modify the IP address while online with the PLC but not in the project? The best way to modify the ip address is while offline, change in the project, and then change any profinet devices that communicate with the PLC so they can also communicate with the PLC. Lastly, download hardware and software changes to every profinet device in the PN subnet of your PLC. Aure1io Hi Stefan, Thanks for answering. I did wrong the procedure to change the IP address. The PLC was online when I changed the IP address and this generated some conflict in the PLC configuration. Best regards,
