X127 Port Routing

Gorka Herranz Posts: 38 Rating: (0)	Good morning, I have an issue whith X127 port (I'm using a 730.3 NCU) I try to do a ping directly conecting my laptop to the port and when running "ping 192.168.215.1 -t" command on console i get time expiration answer . Also when requesting service from Diagnosis (Sinumerik Operate 4.5 SP2, PCU50.5) i get a dialog message showing "Routing error". I have searched into Commisioning manual but I didn't found anything. Thanks.

Is this new machine are you commissioning..... if you just connect the your cross cable on cnc port x127 and in your laptop i hope you have kept Obtain IP address automatically ... Normaly this should ping....If it is not pining....may be port is dsabled....try connecting to X130 and check...Open your WINSCP3 try checking the port is disabled by any chance... Check it out.. Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello, I think you are running with PCU50.5 Operate screen .....Can you try to run with the internal HMI that is from NCU.... You need to activate your Internal HMI screen by pressing recall(^) and Menu select button together You will find the IP 192.168.214.1 Try checking it from this.... Regards, Prakash

Is that a Problem? Here I can ping 192.168.215.1 but I cannot go online with Simatic S7. I've already made 2 changes in basesys.ini like in comissionning manual shown. I activatedFirewallOpenPorts="TCP/5900 TCP/102" andEnableSysNetToIBNForwarding=1. On my computer I have set automatic IP assign and also tried with 192.168.215.2 but no succes. On X120 i don't have any troubles, Problem is that port is already full and without switch i don't have any port to plug in my PG. Can you tell me how to make the X127 work with S7 please. Do I have any PG/PC settings to change? Thank you, Taubi

Thank you, Taubi I know it's been many years since this question, I'm sure @taubi doesn't need the answer anymore, but many people do (like me a day ago). 1. configure your network adapter as DHCP, 2. connected to port x127 you will get an address in the range 192.168.215.xx 3. In the project tree in step 7, select the program folder (the one inside contains the sources and blocks folders) 4. go to the PLC menu and select access address... 5. If it asks you something, say yes and in the field that appears after, enter 192.168.214.1 this worked for me.
