I hope this topic was not discussed before, I did not find an excisting thread with this topic.

My colleaques and I have a problem regarding a hitlist in WinCC V7.4.
We have created a hitlist to display the number of differen messages created by PCS7 V9.
The hitlist and counting works just fine, however we are wondering about a strange behaviour:

When the operator changes an value e.g. setpoint from 0 to 100 we don't get one message but 214 (see the picture attached).

Our question is: why?
For us there is no reason that there are generated that much messages.
How exactly does the generation of the operator message work?
I had a look in the document "Simatic HMI WinCC V7.4 SP1 - WinCC: Working with WinCC - System Manual" but could not find any information that helped me.

Good day all

I'm a bit late to this conversation, but I am experiencing the same issue.  My hit list is flooded with operator actions.  As a test, I changed a MsgEn bit on an alarm from 0 to 1.  It came up in the hitlist with a quantity of 258. 

The rest of the alarms seem to behave as expected on the hitlist.

As a remedy I can exclude operator messages from the hitlist, but I've seen this on various PCS7 installations.  It would be good to get a permanent solution for this behaviour.
