We are using a Siemens IM153-2 (6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) module connected to a 6ES7195-7HD10-0XA0 bus unit. Several I/O cards are connected IM module bus unit via 6ES7195-7HB00-0XA0 bus units.

I need to buy some spares for the IM153-2 cards. All offers I have received are for 6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0, the successor product for existing IM cards.

I would like to know if the existing IM153-2 modules (6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) can be directly replaced by 6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0 without having to replace existing 7HD10 bus units?

Siemens catalogue specifies that 2BA10 variant works with 6ES7195-7HB00-0XA0. In that case, can I replace the old 2BA02 IM unit with the new 2BA10 IM unit after replacing the 7HD10 bus unit by 7HB00 bus unit?
