Is it possible to change DB's 'symbolic access only' to tags after it was created?

Is it possible to change DB's 'symbolic access only' to tags after it was created?? Also I heve a problem with alarm triger bits. In DB Alarms i have list of bits. In HMI it is esential to give word adress. But it doesn't allow me to write it manualy. How i could cope with that? How to switch off in HMI tags symbolic acsess only. Splitted from multi-instance DB in step 7 basic. |

Hi, I don't know a way (up to now) to convert a "only symbolic" DB to a "not only symbolic". However you can add or extract binary values from a word with user logic (or ready to use blocks). See FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/41512046 |
