Bora Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi.I use a HELLER MCH 250using 840-D HMI ADVANCED.Yesterday i translated a couple of alarms from english to turkish by editing the file containing alarms which have numbers 700000 and higher.I did it when software in english mode.Alarms seem in alarm log and messages board in turkish.But now they don't seem at the top of header frame.Nothing seems.I write them by big letters.May be this is the problem but ı can't sure.I tried to open MBDDE.EXE but ı couldn't. lots of thanks.

The appropriate code and the extension .com are added to the user file name entered in mbdde.ini. To prevent a modified MBDDE.INI file from being overwritten when the software is updated, it must be stored in the designated USER path F:\user\mbdde.ini. Changes to alarm texts do not take effect until the HMI is powered up again. When creating text files, make sure that the correct date and time are set on the PC. Otherwise, the user texts may not appear on screen. Success.

For installation of language expansions in HMI-Advanced shell it is necessary to start with PCU 50 corresponding shell, language expansions to HMI-Advanced (address to regional partners Siemens). After installation of the application the opportunity to switch languages (inscriptions on buttons) will appear. And with addition of language files (the way is specified in MBDDE.ini) and an opportunity of messages in corresponding language (a line of messages). Really it is not difficult.
