SIMOTION Scout, SIMATIC Technology and Starter use the same software basis and only one of them can be installed on a computer.

• You can use VMware and use virtual computers. So install each programm in a virtual computer. With a CP5711 or the USB-MPI Adapter (only up to 1,5 MBit/s) you can go online. The internal CPs are not supported (CP5511(PCMCIA) or CP5612(PCI))
  
• With SIMOTION Sout (>= V4.0) you can program a T-CPU!
  (see compatibility table page 8) S7-Tech V4.1 SP1 is included in Sout V4.1 SP2 or newer.
  
• Starter is included in SIMOTION (Scout) and S7 Technology (T-Config)

If you upgrade to Sout V4.1 SP2 one newer, you are able to program your T-CPU with S7-Tech V4.1 SP1.
