Reading SQL Database into WinCC Flexible

Steve Mays Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I need to read the contents of a SQL Database Table into WinCC Flex 2005 and perform some functions on the data! However, i have tried implementing this using the various examples in the forum but without success [:cry:] I have set up the ODBC connection Control Panel etc This is what i need to do:[;)] 1 - From a script on a button open up a connection to a Database called "MyDB" 2 - From a table called "SQL_Archiv" in this Database i need to read the contents of a column called "VarValue" and store in a recordset 3 - sort this recordset in acending order 4 - Determine how many records there are and write this into a WinCC Internal Tag 5 - We will then perform a simple calculation using this internal tag which will provide us with a number which is the record whose value we need to obtain. This value will be written to another WinCC Internal tag. Thus, if we read out 100 records and our calculation gives us a vlaue of 90, we need to read the value of the 90th record! Any help that can be given wouldbe greatly appreciated......[:D] Regards Steve
