Hello Kriztof; Most problems of this type on Profibus networks are related to hardware, topology and installation of cables. Basically, your first reaction should be to check that: - youareusing approved Profibus-DP cables and connectors; - you respect the maximum length (based on transmission speed) and number of nodes (max: 32) per Profibus segment; - you review all connectors to ensure that there is no mistake in the wiriung; connection of the cable shield to the connector grouning plate is essential for removing errors. - the terminating resistors (availableon the Profibus connectors) is activeon the 2 endnodes of the bus, and nowhere else. Hello Topology is very simple, one S7-315-2DP and one MM420 0.37kW with Profibus module. Right now, I just want to create a working model so my all hardware is on my desktop. I use 1 meter long Profibus cable and original Siemens connectors (with built-in terminators). Environment it's just ordinary office so without strong EMC. I don't use grounding because my electrical line system is TN-C. I'm sure that everything except MM Profibus work well because I set up similar model but instead MM inverter I used Lenze inverter.
