Active Line Module fault

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	The first time Active Line module powers up with default settings, it performs a line supply identification test as indicated by the 6,400 message. After frequency and voltage measurements are taken, the test completes and data is saved in the drive. If the measurement is not successful, 6,500 fault is displayed. Reasons can be a missing phase or low voltage on one of the phases. If the automatic line identification is turned off, it may be possible to operate the line module, but the right thing is to examine the quality of the incoming power supply.

Eyezerman Experienced Member Joined: 1/18/2008 Last visit: 11/14/2025 Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I believe I've seen this fault about line synchronization a while ago when the wrong line frequency was selected (50 Hz instead of 60 Hz). However the input power frequencyis detected automatically in recent firmware versions, so I'm not sure what else can cause that error.
