problem with datablock in scl

Lunaticus Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hello everybody i have this problem with a DB expression........i did a code in a FB that divide real numbers and then i call a DB to get the historical data ofthe result of the FB.......but the problem is that i have an error sintaxis.... thanks to someone that want to help me......... Hi you can not assign parameters like this in a DB. You can only define memory areas and data types in a DB. Chilly_Garfield Posts: 316 Rating: (37)	Hi Lunaticus, If you want to see the historical data in a variable create a DB with a array and write cyclic, with increment a loop variable,the variable in the DB. So you can see the values bevor the "crash".

This is really odd to me.Why do you want to save historic data in PLC?It is possible to store data cyclically in cells of a vector.Have you ever thought about this cases: 1-what should be done if the all cells fill out 2-If you have a plan like ring buffer ,checking data in case of shut down would be confusing The optimum solution would be using archiving capability of SCADA such as WINCC. regards ergards

In test phase and without SCADA I prefer this methode. @ Lunaticus Lunaticus howI can fill the positions created in the DB vector .......???????...... You can get write or read the variable with "DB19.base_datos[x]". e.g. DB19.base_datos[1]:=12.0;
