Hello skgaroon, Yes, the faceplate will be updated automatically. It will be done after reloading a picture, which contains a faceplate, or for sure also if you start whole runtime again, or delta loading. That's one of the reason for its use. I attach parts of WinCC manual: Working with Faceplate Types, very interesting for you will be chapter "How to update a Faceplate Instance" Just for completeness I send FAQ: "How does the faceplate technology work with the "Tag Prefix" property of picture windows?", becauseit also mentions this point. Faceplates will work. I do not think faceplate types will work, think not. |
