I recently installed new SP1 for STEP 7 and then noticed that PLCSim doesn't work anymore. You can start it, load program in it, even check memory and program. But it doesn't have connection to other products: WinCC flexible runtime doesn't connect to it, and when I use monitoring in LAD/STL/FBD editor I get message "No reply to STEP 7 message frame".

Additionally, after I exit PLCSim, its icon in SIMATIC Manager stays pressed in. You can start it again trought Start menu, though.

Today I installed new UPD for PLCSim, but it didn't help me.

Anyone had simillar problems?

I have Win7 32-bit and everything worked before, so this is probably not the issue.

Anyway, things corrected, looks like by themselves. I noticed that when starting PLCSim, PG/PC interface didn't automatically change to the appropriate one (PLCSIM TCP/IP in my case). So I changed it manually and also tried with different project and MPI, and after this it started to work normally.
