Connect PC ADAPTER USB with my programable device and my programing device (LAPTOP)

HABT Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	my device is s7 -300, CPU315-2DP. i purchase a new SIMATIC S7 PC ADAPTER USB 6ES7 972-0CB20-0XA0 i tried to connect the adapter with my programable device and my programing device (LAPTOP) but none of the lights is on. i know my programable and programing dedvice are working. but i cant get commication b/n the programing and programable devieces i tried to change my adapter with my friend but still the same problem happend. any one who face the same problem can help me thanks Splitted from S7-300 PG/PC USB connection.

And when connected USB side, USB led should lit too. IF power led do not lit, then the problem may be in the CPU port itself. As it provide 5V to power PC adapter and the problem may be there. For your case, try to use DP port of the CPU and see if the power led it lit or not. Feedbak us by the results.
