2 MCP configuration

mehar Posts: 91 Rating: (1)	Hello, We have a new project in Siemens 840D sl (PCU50.3) with HT8. NOw i want to configure 2 MACHINE CONTROL PANEL. so i configured main MCP as 1 and HT8 as 2. then in OB1 i call first CALL "MCP_IFM" IN0 :=B#16#1 IN1 :=B#16#1 IN2 :=B#16#4 OUT3:="ALARM".C1.FDD_5100xx[8] OUT4:="ALARM"._4FdStop6004xx[8] then : CALL "HPU_MCP" IN0:=B#16#11 IN1:=B#16#1 but now main MCP is not working properly. then i change CALL "HPU_MCP" IN0:=B#16#10 IN1:=B#16#0 Now main MCP is fine BUT HT8 will transfer any signal there is any procedure for use both MCP at a time. is it possible Thanks Mehar

mehar Posts: 91 Rating: (1)	hello, AnyHad tried to configure 2 MCP? i attached my new plc backup. now i only move one MCP parameter at a time. if customer want to use 2nd MCP then i configure a button . when this button press i will call FC26. Any one have better idea than this. whether its possible to work with two MCP at a time(with all functions active)in one channel?? Attachment new_back.zip (228 Downloads)

Here is a copy&paste from dononcd: Multiple calls of FC 19 or FC 24, FC 25, FC 26 are permitted in a single PLC cycle. In this case, the first call in the cycle drives the LED displays. Furthermore, all actions of the parameterized block are carried out in the first call. In the following calls, only a reduced level of processing of the channel and mode group interface takes place. The geometry axes are supplied with directional data only in the first block call in the cycle. For more information see FB1: Function manual, Basic functions, chapter 13.13.23
