Prats Posts: 272 Rating: (4)	dear janardhan, if you want to use a PTO , the servo application as mentioned will work well. See the FCE ie final control element which in this case is the drive. Try testing the S7 1200 for PTO as per your control and the physically connect the DO to the drive inputs ...it will work for sure.

So, the application I sent you is really good to get a first overview. Try to configure your system step by step with the help of the application. If you stop in one point and can't get on because of understanding-problems, feel free to ask again detailed question. But its difficult for the people here to answer your question in detail without knowing the problem in detail. Here maybe a small guidline: 1. Read the application and try to understand 2. Figure out your drive parameters which are needed for this, what you want to do 3. Try to setup the PLC with the drive parameters 4. Try to control your drive by PLC 5. Figure out the problems you do have by doing this. Hope this helps a little bit in the right direction. regards

Whereas a servo drive will usually have a PTO. So which drive are you having and which mode you need to connect?

My application is to run a AC drive (vfd) in SET SPEED Point (pulse train input) signal given from PLC PTO output......but PTO gives two outputs(PULSE,DIRECTION),but i need only pulse output.....sir.........this will work or not.....i'm going in right way or wrong..........help me out sir... THANKS UR SUPPORT SIR
