Project Transfer Speed

superdave68 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	i have noticed recently after having created some fairly large projects( 4mb +)that the project trasfer speed to the panel appears to be at serial speeds, even when connected via ethernet ? a transfer can take on upwards of several minutes, when it should only take a matter of seconds. i am using winccflex2005 advancedsp1 -> target is PC runtime is this just the way it is, or a setting issue ?

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	Is the other PC on a network or is it standalone? Maybe the network traffic is too heavy. Project size of 4MB is next to nothing for this type of transfer.

superdave68 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	it appears to be the same speed on several different machines. these are all standalone two machine networks. it is not the nework card, you can do manual file transferes (via file explorer) just fine.

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	Hi dave. I assume you are transferring to file and the file path is a shared folder on the networked machine. If this is the case then it should be the same speed as a transfer using Explorer.
