Configuration with Web diagnostics server and Web diagnostics client

(OS single-station system)

You use this configuration for an OS single-station system.

You can use this configuration to perform cost-effective remote maintenance with one or a few

Web diagnostics clients on multiple OS single-station systems/Web diagnostics servers.

NOTICE

The preferred and standard solution is a configuration with a Web server and Web client. The

configuration with Web diagnostics servers and Web diagnostics clients is only intended for

plants that have a relatively small number of clients and in which clients connect sporadically

to the servers for diagnostic purposes.

At least I don't know if it would work to have a Web Server and a Web Diagnostic Server on the same PC.

If it don't work (what I suggest) you have different possibilities.

First (but not completely fulfilling your requirements):

- Install your Web Diagnostic Server on your ES and connecta maximum of 3Web Diagnostic clients to it (referring to the picture in chapter 4.4 of the mentioned manual)
and
- Install the Web Server on your Single Station and connect the Web Clients to it (refereing to chapter 4.3). The problem isthat you can only run 3 Web Client on a Single Station Web Server according to the manual.

Second (expensive):

- Create a OS Server / Client system to run a Web Server with more than 3 possible Web Clients and a seperate Web Diagnostic Server (maybe on the ES).
