Hello, You can use the Excel table "S7fcotia.xls" for calculating monitoring and response times in a safety-related application with S7 Distributed Safety. The table is available for free downloading in Entry ID: 25412441. The "S7fcotia.xls" table has three tabs. The first tab contains the calculation of the maximum runtime of the F runtime group depending on the F CPU used. Here, among other things, you enter the number of F function blocks used from the S7 Distributed Safety library. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Hello Madhava I'm afraid to say I can't give you a specific answer on how to fix this, but have some hints: 1.) Check the thread F-Monitoring time where the same issue is also discussed 2.) Grab a copy of theSIMATIC Industrial Software S7 F/FH Systems - Configuring and Programming manual which contains more info onF-monitoring time. 3.) Grab also a copy of theSIMATIC Industrial Software Safety Engineering in SIMATIC S7 and see AppendixA4 for moredetails on F-monitoring times for an S7 F/H system. 3.) To calculate the times manually usethe "S7timeb.xls" excel workbookfrom SIMATIC S7 F Systems: Execution Times of Failsafe Software Blocks, Runtime of the F Shutdown Group, Monitoring and Response Times (Do NOT use "S7fcotia.xls" asitonly applicable for Distributed safety).
