russ1669 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Grunes, start by thinking about what inputs will be required... limit switches to let the PLC know the elevator position, call buttonsetc. then the outputs. Finally build the program. Keep it as simple as you can (don't worry about call buttons and priority to start with) and keep testing as you add further features. Russ

As a clearidea about phisical appearence will enable you with the information of what kind of automation hirarchy you can implement. Also fo each and every stage of selection of different components , be it is electrical or instruments or automation you should clearlyindicateyou criteria, calculation, options you had. Since you are in school and you are in PLC project, I can say that you are well familiar with FLOWCHART, it is easy way to go from lingual expression of automation systems to PLC language. Now I suggest you to write a flowchart post here then we will be happy to give you sample program (starting program). Regards,
