Controling a micromaster 420 with a LOGO AQ 6ED1055-1MM00-0BA1

Oortjes Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, Can i control the speed of a electric motor with a micromaster 420 that is controled by a LOGO with a AQ module? In my opinion the output of the AQ module (0..10V) is connected to AIN- and ANI+ on the micromaster. Is that correct?

sparten Posts: 205 Rating: (11)	Hello Oortjes, yes it is possible to control MM420 speed from LOGO AO ...for that you have to connect analog output of LOGO to terminal 3(ADC+) and terminal 4(ADC-) on MM420 drive/...

Yes ofcorse Drive can be controlled by any analog signal whether its coming from LOGO or anywhere else Note that, this will control speed only. For Start/stop you may have to provide DI to drive

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	Hi-ya. My conceren is not IF it can be done.. but rather how you control it internally. The Logo! is not known for making too much math calculations. Storing values can be a bit of a challange too. Maybe just double check that the coding you have in mind to calculate the setpoint for the drive can be done by the Logo! Dig a bit deeper into what the drive can do too. you may find that you do not need a Logo! as the drive can do the "calculation" internally. Without any knowledge about your process, there will only be guessing. Good luck. w

Yes you should connect LOGO with MM440 but i think no possibility for PID /speed control is possible. VP
