WinCC Error while requesting the interface for the data storage

Desi boyz Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Anastasia Hello I have a problem when I try to create new project or to open alredy exictent. The first error message is "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". After the next error window with message "Error while requesting the interface for the data storage". May be somebody knows what a problem it could be and how to solve it? Hello everyone, Iam also facing similar problem. In my configuration I have one ES, 2 server machine and one os client. ES and both the server's OS is Windows server 2008 std R2 64 bit. And OS client's OS is windows 7. out of 2 servers one is main and other one is standby. I am able to configure both the server and download the project successfully. The only problem I am facing is when i try to open the wincc project an error pop up comes saying you dont have enough permission to open although same rights were given to Main Server which is running fine. Then I added all the rights for the Windows User. Thereafter a new problem came while opening the winCC project saying Error while requesting the interface for the data storage. I am using PCS7 v8.0 SP1. Thanks & Regards in advance.
