Thank you all for the help The converter's power supply is working well. It is a 24V dc. I see, no master address. The Adam 4522 has a 2 wire rs485 interface. The Simeas P50 is also a two wire interface with a RTS line. A manual for the Adam is located here. The Delphin is wired to the Adam with a standard 9 pin rs232 cable. The Delphin is a Modbus RTU master. I can set up more than one slave device. So I checked all the settings of the Delphin to make sure they are correct. One of the settings is the device address, so that's the address of the device you want the Delphin to connect to. That's what I meant. EDIT: I've got quite an update. I tested the Adam with the Simeas on a PC. The PC software for the simeas is working well (so my Adam converter is working well too) and I tested the connection with modscan32 which gave me only valid slave responses. I've attached a printscreen from modscan32. I tested this setup with the delphin, but that is not working yet. Does someone know what to test with modscan32 to make the simeas work with the delphin? EDIT2: There was a problem with the Delphin firmware. New firmware solved the problem. Thank you all. Regards, Samuel |
