Now is like as the WinCC Flex working on 'stand alone' mode. I already try to unistall and re-install again, but nothing change. Thank-you for any suggestion.

dande74 Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	I also have this problem. Have you solved it? I had STEP 7 and WinCC flexible 2005 SP1 HF7. Upgraded to WinCC flexible 2007. Under the installation I got a warning that said "WinCC flexible 2007 needs STEP 7 5.4.1.0 or later to work integrated...something". When opening integrated project I got an error saying "WinCC flexible is missing". Then, this weekend I upgraded to STEP 7 Professional Edition 2006SR2, which gave me STEP 7 5.4.2.0. Now I get an error that says "Wincc flexible. Older version or not fully installed" Tried to repar the installation without any success. Will try to uninstall WinCC flexible and install it again and hope for it to work. I have had so much trouble with the upgrade to 2007. It feels like it never will end. Regards -- Daniel

dande74 Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	Ok, read in the documentation that you have to install the software in correct sequence. First STEP 7, then WinCC flexible. If WinCC flexible is installed before STEP 7 you have so uninstall and install WinCC flexible again. Regards -- Daniel

I calling the local hot-line, and I don't have any solution; they ask to me many information (about my PC, the software installed, etc.), and tell that one DLL is not registerd; after the manually registration, something change, but the wincc integration still not working. I waiting (maybe today) the contact by the Siemens developer tecnician directly from Germany for try to solve. When I have the finally solution (I hope to have today or tomorrow!), I post this. GP68 Experienced Member Joined: 8/11/2006 Last visit: 12/3/2025 Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hi to all Today the Siemens germany tecnician solve my problem: to solve it, it must be manually register two DLL: "Step7.Utah2AutApiSrv.dll" and "Step7.S7INSInfoSrv.dll". Both of this dll are into winccflex directory (on my machine "C:\Programmi\Siemens\SIMATIC WinCC flexible\WinCC flexible 2007"). For manually register you need open a 'command prompt' windowsand go into the specify winccflexible directory, and execute the command "regsvr32 Step7.Utah2AutApiSrv.dll" first, and the same command with the other dll. After this you need to download, from microsoft, the DWMAPI.DLL and place this into "c:\windows\system32" directory. After this operation, the winccflex integration start to working normally. Here I report the information about the windows dll missing, from the Siemens tecnician. (Thank-you very much mr. Riedl-Siemens) ----- Hi just for your information... Here is a discussion of the problem you had: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=946323&SiteID=1 The reason why the integration did not work is that WCF is done in C# and Step7 in unmanaged C++, so we are using COM Interop within the Integration. That's why the problem did show up there.
