%PCP down probleme

ajouet Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have actually problemes with my Sinumerik 810 GA3. I have to reload all the data. but the %PCP file transfert stopafter few bits. Someone had the same trouble in this topic : /tf/WW/en/Posts/69061 it closed and i cant refresh it. I found and follow the instructions, but %PCP still stop after few bits, the older version of this file don't download also. Every other file are OK. Seem like the PLC doesnt ready to transfer, but PCA downs well. Any suggestions? Thank you. Regards, Arnaud

Set 5010, 5011, 5016, load succefully %TEA1 an % TEA2, get out, back an failed to down % PCP, PCA and the remaining files can be load normally. Hum, i made a mistake, i need to reload after battery issue, note download, sorry. Is there something to check in the PLC side ? thanks

ajouet Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Yes we have, We are suspecting memory card failure. Can it be ? Otherwise, how to explain this is the only file we cant load ? We tried %pcp from other machine, and it's exactly the same. I don't think, it could be the cpu card. Anyway thanks to your reply.

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, I don't think the system would know it had a memory problem. You can try loading the standard plc program and read it out. Then load it back in again. I've seen occasional plc corruption which stops program input. With the standard program loaded you can go into normal operating area and there should not be a plc error. Just a system in e stop. After loading tea1 and tea2 you should format the memory areas again. Have you got a step 5 programming system ? Pee

ajouet Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have theS5D file, i've connected my terminal andwas able to be online. But icouldn't load it cause of "caractere indefini du coupleur" (google trad = indefinite nature of the coupler). a Siemens enginer will come tomorrow, i'll report to you. thanks

ajouet Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, Finally the probleme wad solved by reloading the automat program by the S5D file. We have tried it before but our version of step5 was too old, and dont work with AP of CN. Then it was possible too download it in %pcp but still impossible too load it in this kind of file. Does anyone knows a way to get a more recent version of step5. Thanks Pee to your support.

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, I don't know if Siemens still sell the latest version of Step 5. The product line is obsolete with no support. It's my job so I have purchased most of the latest versions of programming software including s5 but I actually run a cracked version of S5. I just tried the Siemens Mall to buy it but searching for Step 5 only produced results for Step 7. Try your local Siemens office otherwise if you look you can find it. Also I am not convinced your version of S5 is the problem. I've hooked up to an 810/820 system with a old PG675. (pre dos) Pee
