ACTIVATION PROBLEM IN PCS7 8.0 SP1 single OS

Automation Engineer Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, we have one engineering station with four operating station. these operaing stations are 2km away from engineering station. In engineering station, we are using PCS7 8.0 SP1 software and all working sations are having single os station package which contains wincc runtime 7.2. Note: we are using WINXP SP3 operating system. My question is that. when i transfer operating station from engineering sation toward operator station/PC(2km away from eng station), it deactives the runtime, copy OS successfully but during activation its producing error message due to this reason project is not activating automatically. we activate project manually by pressing activate button form wincc. some time this situation is very panic and critcal because all OS are very away from main engineering station. Ralfinio Posts: 567 Rating: (107)	Hi, after the each download there will be a logfile for the download. Maybe you can find there some more information. Important is that you download your WinCC project via terminalbus and that the user which is logged in on the ES is also logged in on the OS and they need the same password on both PC-Stations.
