BATCH 8.0, all options are grayed out

I running in a VM w2008R2  and BATCH 8.0.

Compiling and Dowloading works fine from the ES with no errors.  

Batch Base is installed along with FastObjects

I am experiencing a problem with my SIMATIC BATCH Launch Coordinator.It never completes.  The Icon in the tray just sits there with the green hour glass displayed.

All options are grayed out except for Information and Batch Server status.  I have included screen captures:

BFDBMon.exe keeps failing according to the log.

Please help.

Hi,

the settings are always grayed out because it's just for information.

You can change the start up characteristic in the batch dialog in SIMATIC Manager under the project settings.

By default it the startup time should be  300 seconds. If the data base is too big, than you can increase it.

If the launch coordinator failed you can find the first and best information in windows event logs. For example you will get one log for starting. And if the 300 seconds for are not enough than you will get the next event log (have a look at the time stamp) as error.

If you can't solve the issue you should open a service request at the technical support.
