Removing a corrupt Step 7 installation

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, My Step 7 V5.3 installation stopped working on me and I am trying to reload the package. The automatic removal failed miserably. I've deleted all files in the Step 7 directory as per the instructions plus a couple other windows files. I've removed all Siemens entries from the registry (user and local). All seems to go well on the reload until it hits a stop with Step7 V5.3 HF1 already exists cannot load V5.3. Anybody know where Step 7 is picking up the information about the Hot Fix 1 patch. ? Thanks
