PCS7 SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout

yangfl Member Joined: 10/26/2007 Last visit: 11/22/2018 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi,I have a project which is upgraded from PCS7 V5.2 to PCS7 V6.1,When we finish the project, we encountered a problem, that is the OS often can not run because the picture is not dynamic and can not select the objects of the picture and the objects of the picture is no response when we click it by the mouse, but the operating system(Windows 2003 Server)is ok. When we restart the computer, the OS is ok again, but It is not ok after sereral days, and we found when the picture is not dynamic and not refreshed by the AS, the Wincc_Sys_02.txt of the Diagnose folderis always writen the following information:255,02.08.2007,00:00:44:484,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout. And this problem takes place often when weswitch the pictue. Who can help me analysis the problem, and why,how to do? Thanks a lot! Attachment diagnose_server11.zip (493 Downloads)

This Project is consist of three Servers & one Client and Two AS, One TMC controller. The original Project is done by Siemens I&S, We upgrade the Project,But the Project have a ATD_MP software,we only use the old version ATD_MP software which mainly use as the procedure of CFC,faceplate. Now the upgraded Project encontered two problem, one is the above listed, that is the running picture is not move and not dynamically refreshed, and when this problem occurs, the diagnosis information of the the Diagnos Folder alway wrote the information " 255,02.08.2007,00:00:44:484,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout 255,02.08.2007,00:01:44:484,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout 255,02.08.2007,22:38:43:687,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout 255,02.08.2007,22:39:43:703,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout 255,02.08.2007,22:40:43:703,1007008,4,,SERVER11,SCRIPT,EndAct Timeout" And we don't know how to do. Project was migration of old Cemat project V4 with S5 PLCs and some another visualisation to at that time new version of Cemat based on PCS7 V6.1 SP1. There was redundant pair of servers and four clients. ThePLCs were still S5 in thefirst phase of migration and subsequently were changed to S7. This problem often appeared on the clients, they became totally stocked, mostly when operators called some huge C-script which accessed the user archive. I don't know the rightreason for this but therewasbig load of system, there were many alarms at short time period, quick changes of process pictures, there wereso many objects in pictures and objects had many C-scripts. So what we did was to increase RAM on the servers and clients and we made some optimalization, took off many C-scripts which were unnecessaryor could be replacedby another solution. I couldn't say that the problem completelly dissapeared,but it helped a lot. Before the problem was many times per week and after that it appeared rarely. We recommended customer to restart the clients e.g. once per months and I think it also helped, as well as it's good for windows you know . Another thing is that I created some startup script on the clients which makes some useful things e.g. to copy actual version of process pictures from server to their cache (customers maintenance engineers sometimes make a change of process).
