Comunnication Fail S7-400 5H

Hi,

i'm trying to connect my CPU (S74005H) playing a virtual machine (Windows 7 - PCS7 8.1) but i got some problems. I always receive a message like that my CPU can be reached. I'm new in PCS7 and i would like to know what the first step to solve this problem, which way I have to go...

PS1: This is a new S7-400, so it is first download. I don't know if it is import, or need a special configuration.

PS2: ping VM to host is ok, so there is a correct connectivity.

There you can find  a Manual. In chapter 2 there is a step by step description how to connect the 410-5H.

Check the following on your VM:

1) Network adapter configured as bridged;

2) Set correct PC/PG Interface (Simatic Manager: Options > Set PG/PC Interface...). Use an ISO because of step 3.

3) Set correct MAC Address on HW Config from CPU/CP Interface.

Then you should be able to perform a download.
