Sinumerik 840C alarm 43 PLC-CPU not ready cause 002A

hacm Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello, On our Gildemeister 67 machine with 840C control we have alarm 43 PLC-CPU not ready for operation I check cause(plc service)and it says 002A. No idea what is going on Machine control panel seems dead ...no light on ( use to be a lot of light there) We had(local) service guy for service , he tried to reload but didn't work this time . Is reload (PLC , NC)solution or something else is going on. Thank you for any input

TSH Posts: 73 Rating: (2)	Hello Code 2A indicates corrupt PLC machine data. Depending on what exactly happened, it could be just a case of loadinga TEA2file from hard disk to the PLC ram area. It is a while since I have done this and cannot remeber the exact sequence. On completeion, the machine data is activated by going in/out of the general reset area via a soft-key Regards

hacm Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Itried to reload NC and PLC everithing finished ok but no diference alarm still present . Maybe i do not have corect procedure or so. Is there anything we can look into to solve this problem? If somebody can post procedure for reloading NC and PLC... so i can make sure i have right one thanks

It was shortage on 24V line.On Fire extinguisher system, one screw broke the wire and shortened it to machine….or something like that .Anyway that was the problem. When we isolate the wire we were able to reload PLC and NC… and machine seems fine, no more alarm.P.S. we lost tool offsets and wear too
