A couple years back I tested the ability to define the “super Universal” points on our PXC Compacts as LDO’s. I used the following Functional Device Relay: RIBME2401B Apparently when the “super Universal” points on the PXC-24 (X13, X14, X15, or X16) are defined as LDO’s the put out around 23 VDC. When coupled with a special “low Coil Input” relay, you can expand the amount of DO’s available on the Compact. Note: The original PXC’s did not have “ Super Universal “ outputs… Check your hardware before trying this solution. I used the attached relay and set it up as an LDO and a L2SL Point and they both worked fine. The only issue is you have to provide 24vac to the relay for supply power.
