after compression and download my PLC is showing Internal Fault

Quite more inetresting is the part around the I/Os.. what are you doning in the program? which blocks for operator control and monitoring do you have? are you using APL blocks....

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	You can try to clean up the blocks in CFC with the function "Block types...". Maybe there are blocks which are not needed. Otherwise you can go to your chart folder and sort the blocks by their size in the work memory. Blocks by the author DRIVER and ES_MAP are automatically generated. If you find big DBs which are instance DBs from function blocks you can figure out if you can achive the same result in you program without that function block.... In the APL libriary there are often blocks like MotL and MotS which means Motor Large and Motor small. Try to use the small ones. They are providing less functions, but maybe its enough for you.

Reduce the communication jobs 2. Figure out number of IOs used, and accordingly change process image Input-Output area 3. Number of messages in diagnostic buffer Don't buy 412 again, it comes with very little work memory. Thanks, GJ

Shanoob N K Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Hi.. With respect to memory utilization, in case you are using LAD programming then switching to STL may reduce memory utilization by adopting indirect addressing. Also try to reduce the Spare memory allocation in DBs
