Hi,

I have following problem with safety relay (3SK1) & expansion module with device connector.kindly suggest.

1. Expansion module not energized (at present we are not extended any control supply to the A1, A2 terminals of the expansion module)

2. LED of safety relay glowing as follows
I) Green-Steady (Device)
II) Green-Flashing (Out)
III) Green-Steady (In)
IV) Red-Flashing (SF)

Scheme drawings attached, kindly let me know if there is any fixing arrangement problem (or) electrical wiring issues.

Selected part numbers as follows:

1. 3SK1121-1AB40 (K1) (Safety relay)
2. 3SK1211-1BB40 (K1-1 & K1-2) (Expansion module)
3. 3ZY1212-2BA00 (Device connector)
4. 3ZY1212-2DA00 (Device termination connector)

Present fixing arrangements as follows:

3SK1121-1AB40 with 3ZY1212-2BA00, 3SK1211-1BB40 with 3ZY1212-2BA00, 3SK1211-1BB40 with 3ZY1212-2DA00

If the attached drawing shows the actual DIP switch settings then these have to get changed:

DIP switch 1 to "Autostart" (because no start button INS wired)
DIP switch 3 to "2 single ch. sensors" (E-STOP is wired as single channel)

The LED behavior means feedback error but the same is also given if A2- is connected or A1+ is connected. Please not both terminals (A1 and A2) of expansion modules must not get connected!
