It would seem the PCS7 Forum might be a better place to address your questions: From your questions by number 1.I want to create faceplates in PCS7. the Manual Process Control System PCS7 Programming Instructions for Blocks http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24449702has a secton on creating faceplates 2.All the button area is disabled in PCS7: This is driven by the OS Project Editor and Picture Tree Manager. At a higher level the Picture Tree Stucture is created by the Technical Hierarch in Simatic Manager. 3.I want to configure a button as pushbutton. There are toggle buttons in the Global Library > Operations > Toggle Buttons 4.I have reqiurement that 2 users should not be able to open same faceplate from 2 different places. One way to do this is to assign operators to different areas and pictures to areas. If the faceplate is in only one area, then only the operator logged into the area can access the faceplate 5.I want to use a clock bit which flashes for every 0.5sec (i don't want to use any plc tag bit).Is it possible by internal tag. If I understand what you want correctly you could do it in a script but you would have to have two timers. Each of duration 0.5 seconds. One would turn the light on for 0.5 sec and one would turn it off for 0,5 sec 6.If i have ES/OS station (RC/RT license) and server (RTLicense) then how should i transfer the project from ES/OS station to the server.(whether server will store these pictures). In your Step 7 project you would insert a SIMATIC PC Station. In the PCS Station you would insert a WinCC Application and a Communications Processor probably Ethernet. Then you could download the WinCC configuration to the PC Station just like you download the PLC program to the PLC. PCS7 is a complex system and I highly recommend that you attend Siemens PCS7 Training. Bill |
