Hi , I too have the same problem . If you are the monitoring of a block ( OB or FB or DB or VAT etc) , and u stop a CPU from the mode selector switch of an H CPU , the restoration of redundancy is not possible. The following error messages appears in the diagnostic buffer . " Trigger event: LINK-UP aborted due to active test and start-up or object management function." Help on event says : Explanation: You can only link up two CPUs if no test functions or other online functions have been initiated (such as downloading blocks). If this requirement is not met, the standby CPU goes into the STOP mode during link-up. Remedy: Terminate all presently running test functions or do not call any other online functions during or before the link-up. Why a monitoring function interrupts the restoration of an H CPU redundancy? Why Siemens has designed the H-system this way?
