Hi, The timer concept is a bit different in S7-200 compared to AB or even S7-300/400 When you are defining timer, you have to give the preset value. But instead of a constant, you can put a variable (e.g:VW100) in that place and change the preset from anywhere in the ladder. The T# bit gives the timer status and T# intgives the timer's current count. For example if use T33 in a NO or NC contact will be the timer status bit. But if you use T33 in a compare statement, it will be the expired time.Also keep in mindthatT33 is a 10ms base timer. You also have the option of using IEC timer instruction.
