Is there a way that can replace blocks automatically?

Dear experts

I want to replace channel drives in a higher version software with another type of channel driver, I want to know if there is a way instead of deleting older one and placing new one. A way that can replace blocks automatically.

I was using pcs7- version 7.1 and I decided to work in version 8.2 , because the operating system in which the 7.1 can be installed is windows XP and it is different from needed OS for 8.2 (windows 7), I could not update the version and I just installed a 8.2 and copy the latest project to the new version, but I get into trouble with channel drivers, the project could not be compiled. I want to know if there is any way to solve this problem without exchanging channel drivers manually.

Hello,

there is no need to repalce the old Channel driver with the new APL Channel driver.

You have to install the old Library from PCS 7 V7.4. Then  the AS compile will work without channel driver replacement.

As i know there is no Automatik Funktion to replace the old Channel driver with the APL types.
