Control the 212 by modems?

KevinLau Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I connected the S7-200 CPU212 to a modem, and that modem connected to another modem through a phone line, then by using the com port (rs232) to go to my PC. I am trying to control the PLC my the ProTool. Is that possible to do it? Should I change the program of the PLC in Step7 first such that the PLC can transmit and receive the data? KevinLau Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	The modem which connected to the PLC is showing that there are data transmissing and receiving, and the LEDs of TXD and RXD are all lighted on and flashing when communicating. But the modem which connected to my PC is only transmissing the data and NO receiving data and ONLY the DTR LED is light on, TXD is flashing,RXD is light off. Is there any wrong setting of the modem? I am just using the direct modem link, is that impossible to do the Remote maintenance? Thank a lot!
