Upgrade from PCS7 V7.0 SP2 to Step 7 V5.6 + CFC 8.2

I have a new Project to Upgrade SCADA Station which is now running on PCS7 V7.0 SP2 and WinCC.

the customer ask me to upgrade it to Step 7 V5.6 and CFC 5.6 and WinCC V7.4 SP1.

I would like to know if I can use the exiting SCADA Program with the newer version of WinCC, and if I can use the Same CFC Program with the New CFC V8.2, what I have to do to let this success.

if you use PCS 7 V7.0 SP2 you cannot simply upgrade the STEP 7 version to V5.6.

You have to check the compatibility first. There is the compatibility tool, which can help you in compatibility questions: https://support.industry.siemens.com/kompatool/

With this tool you can see, that the highest STEP 7 version, which is compatible to PCS 7 V7.0 SP2 is STEP 7 V5.4 SP3 HF12.

If you want to use STEP 7 V5.6, you have to upgrade your PCS 7 version to PCS 7 V9.0.

But I am a little confused with your question because you use the terms PCS 7 and SCADA.
With PCS 7 we usually have an Operator Station and not an SCADA Station.

Simply, my current situation is :

PCS 7 V7.0 SP1

What Customer Want :

Upgrade to Step 7 V5.6 and CFC 8.2 and WinCC V7.4

Now I know its impossible to upgrade PCS 7 V7.0 to the Mentioned Versions.

What I'm Thinking to do ?

Bring New Wrokstation, install Step 7 V5.6 and CFC 8.2 and WinCC 7.4 on it

and then take the PLC Program (Hardware and Software and CFc Program) as Archive from the Existing PCS 7 to the New Workstation with Step 7 V5.6 and CFc V8.2

and Then Take the WinCC Program from the Old one and Open it in the New Workstation with WinCC V7.4

Now I want to know if that would work or if I need to do a lot of engineering.

and I would like to know if I can move PCS 7 Program to normal Step 7 and CFC and WinCC Workstation without using PCS 7 again.

You cannot import or run a SCADA project in PCS 7.
You have to do a re-engineering in a new PCS 7 project.

2.
If you mean the SCADA project, CFC V5.6 is not compatible to STEP 7 V5.6 and WinCC V7.4 SP1. Please the see attached screenshot from the compatibility tool.
