Hello Assem Saffarini, if you use PCS 7 V7.0 SP2 you cannot simply upgrade the STEP 7 version to V5.6. You have to check the compatibility first. There is the compatibility tool, which can help you in compatibility questions: https://support.industry.siemens.com/kompatool/ With this tool you can see, that the highest STEP 7 version, which is compatible to PCS 7 V7.0 SP2 is STEP 7 V5.4 SP3 HF12. If you want to use STEP 7 V5.6, you have to upgrade your PCS 7 version to PCS 7 V9.0. But I am a little confused with your question because you use the terms PCS 7 and SCADA. And with PCS 7 the PCS 7 Version is leading and all other components e.g. STEP 7 are part of this version. So if you want to upgrade your software version you normally upgrade the PCS 7 Version and get the newer versions of the components automatically. If you use PCS 7 there are manuals for updating from one version to a newer one, which also include the Operator Station. As an example here is the link for software update from PCS 7 V8.0 to V9.0: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109746554 |
