Can analog failsafe input be used in standard program?

Dear Sirs, My only doubt is :- can analog failsafe input be used in standard program ?? and do we have to consider a standard as well as failsafe module for a signal to be used in both safety program as well as standard program... hi dhaniamandeep, have a look into the manual of the SW you use. SIMATIC Industrial Software S7 Distributed Safety - configuring and programming or SIMATIC Industrial Software SIMATIC Safety - Configuring and Programming In both manuals you will find a chapter of "data exchange between standard user program and safety program" As you can see you have read-access to any F-tag, so the input can be used also in the standard-program. hope this helps, regards, |
