I would like to enable back light of LOGO8 display to be on forever. Will it have any problem.?

Like display damage, LED shoten life span or heat issue..?

@ M111, I have in a few setups the TDE backlight always in white colour and incase of attention required amber colour and incase of alarm in red colour.

after a two years in this way working no signs from wear down the screen is not heating up.

Because of the "abuse" from the function keys i think that the keys will fail sooner then the backlight.

 I absolutely agree with you, we have a similar application where the backlight work in 0-24 and it has been working for more than 2 years.
