Tomcat, Since CrystalReports is a 3rd party solution, you have to install it separately from the media/installer onto the new computer. In this way the necessary files to make the control work will be installed on the PC. If you just copied the *.dll file(s) from old computer to new, I would be very surprised if it works. Then you can just right click .NET Controls sidebar tool, choose Add/Remove, and wait to load all the pre-allocated controls within Windows into the menu. After that you can see that it will not be in the list, so you just click the Add button and then browse to the location of the *.dll file the control was installed to above from your CrystalReports installation. |
