Hi experts! I've been trying to set up a single station using a spare set of S7-400 PLC and some IM's I have lying around. I've been trying to follow this guide: Trial 1: Not exactly like the setup in pg.12 (ES/OS single-user system) - I uploaded the archive here as an attachment. - The AS and the ES seem to see each other and the connections look fine. When I program some new CEMAT blocks into a CFC, I am able to compile them on to the ES - The problem is that the WINCC runtime doesn't work properly. I mean that the CEMAT faceplates have that triangle exclamation mark warning symbol that I usually see when there's no communication between PLC and HMI in our real DCS. There's no alaram processing, etc. Trial 2: Exactly like the setup in pg.12 (ES/OS single-user system) - Also uploaded here - Under this configuration I can't even compile the ES because the compilation window doesn't see the s7-project to connect to and compile from. According the the same manual, just go ahead and compile. But if I do this, there aren't any tags generated in the WinCC project. any tags generated in the WinCC project. Please help me get these setups working. What am I doing wrong? I also have AS_OS engineering installed btw EDIT: I got it to work! - For those with similar problems, download my archive for trial 1. Trial 2 still won't work for me. - In the configuration of trial 1, all I needed to do to make winCC work was go to Tag management, rightclick the Industrial ethernet, click system parameter, click unit tab, then select the ethernet adapter that you are connecting to the plc with. Thanks, and I hope this helps some people Attachment24023824_PCS7_Mini_V82_en.pdf (50 Downloads) |
