Transistor outputs on 24CE

For example if you have a manual switch on the electrical cabinet to turn something on without the controller giving consent to this or as a "emergency start" in case the controller malfunctions, connecting the switch in parallel with the transistor output and then to the load. Or will the output be fried by doing this? Of course the 24V would be the same one as the one driving the LOGO and outputs so it would not be some alien voltage. Kind regards David

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/7/2026 Posts: 36414 Rating: (4547)	I would in your place between the output of the LOGO! and turn the load on a diode in the forward direction. If then the button (or switch) gives voltage to the load, locks the diode and there is no reverse voltage to the output.

The easiest ways for this are decoupling diodes or in case of an available changeover contact or 1no+1nc the break contact to the Logo output and the make contact to +24V, the common contact to the load.
