Does the already installed matlab r2017b include Simulink and a license for it?

When I try to install this software, I get an error that says "Setup cannot proceed, installa a compatible version of Matlab before running setup". I have uninstalled and reinstalled Matlab R2017b, under my Windows 7 SP1 system, but the issue has not fixed. What can I do?

Before 2017a was installed, I uninstalled the program, then I installed 2016a. In both cases I got the same error. the problem is not solved with these versions?

 the post above yours say Matlab R2018B solve the problem.

Would you post a screenshot of the reg edit you did that successfully worked for your specific problem?

I solved the problem by introducing the file path from within * regedit *.

also works with lower versions.
