Add a message class to a library block

You can change the message properties of any block in the library by (make sure you do this in your master data library, not the APL library directly):
- Right click on the block > Special Object Properties > Message
- Adjust whatever you need (class, priority, text, acknowledgement(s), extended text, etc.)
- Sync the block back to your project(s) from the library using normal method.

In your use case, I assume you are going to going to make this setting on one of the external message inputs?  Otherwise it doesn't make much sense because then all your alarms for MonDiL will be that class after you sync, unless that's what you really want.

Thank you for your advice! When going to the special object properties of a monDil there are several message classes available: alarm high, alarm low, process w/ack, etc... But there is no Operation Message w/o Ack available. This is the class I am looking to add.

For select dio points I only need a log that the points operated. No need for operator acknowledgement. Am currently using an eventNck for this which has teh Operation Msg w/o Ack class available. But that is not ideal as teh eventNck does not have a timestamp option. So am looking to add Operation Msg w/o Ack to a MonDil which does have a timestamp input. Or conversely, add timestamp input to EventNck block. But not sure if either of those is possible.

In CFC, when I go to a blocks special obj properties I can change the message class for each SIG but I dont see a way to add a message class that isnt listed in the drop down. Am I missing something?
