I am implementing  program from the SCL Manual page 25

in the program it is using the Input word and input bytes but i do not have the hardware so I am trying to change the bits from HMI instead of switches 

I am able to change BITS in a word in DB10 but I need bytes also therefore I want to save this word as two bytes byte0 and byte 1, how is that possible with SCL

hope simple example is enough:

f.ex. DB10.DBW100 or MW100 (only f.ex.)

-> your save BYTE places f.ex. MB120,MB121

MB120:=DB10.DBB100;

MB121:=DB10.DBB101;

With MW is same but save from MB100 and MB101. Hope this is clear and enough for you.
