The CSM module is a expansion module of the LOGO right?

I thought the X005 was a expansion module of the s7? And if its not, if its a stand alone switch, I can connect external non-siemens devices to it?

Hi Niels,

Private i use simple dead cheap TP link 100Mbs network hub's.

On my work i use the siemens Scalance switch, this because of the DNV requirements ( i work on board ships).

The nice thing from the Scalance switch is the 24 Volt power supply and very high tempurature range.

As IXO65 says switch is switch , but incase of the industrial use onboard ships ( the power supply can play and tempurature is not always good), not only i need but i also prefer to use proper profesionial equipment.
