Hi everyone, you probably have heard about the term Edge Computing. Have you also heard about SIEMENS Industrial Edge? Here we talk about an open system with the possibility to centrally manage hundreds of Edge Devices, which can be distributed all over the world. This offers the opportunity to roll-out docker-based applications to the Edge Devices in a very easy way. Furthermore it offers integrated automation and cloud connectivity for each device. Industrial Edge is an appropriate solution for machine builders who have machines with IoT devices all over the world or for producing industries having a large number of PC-based devices in use.
